WHAT IS IT? Home made nail stickers. I saw them at Spektor’s Nails weeks ago and always wanted to try out if this works and it does: You paint them on some foil, let them dry and then you can cut them and fixate them on your nails with a little nailpolish. Later I found this very nice tutorial which gives a good idea how to make decals that are already better fitted.

WHAT IS IT? Well I’m not inspired by just one flag, but I thought I show you where I come from and did a Hello Europe mani working with all the flags that are not too difficult and easy to recreate. So I chose: of course the flag of the EU, then Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Sweden, Irland, Spain, Finland and Portugal.

WHAT IS IT? Well this was a tough one. I was really wondering what I should do for this challenge. I refuse to paint ghosts or the like on my nails. And there were the new A England polishes waiting for me. So what should I do? It was just so easy: The green one is named “dragon” and this should be supernatural enough, don’t you think? To try out some more things from my nail order I added some glitter to imitate scales. And now look, that’s a Common Wesh Green, don’t you think? Well, it was really hard to get a picture that approximately showed it right. This is the best I managed and yet it still only gives a hint on how the glitter actually looks on my nails.

WHAT IS IT? I really wanted to use this top coat with the big green, blue and black hexagons and thought well this is the best to create a pattern with it, you just have to place all hexagons seperately. And as my rainbow toe nails where ready to be renewed I did this on my toes.

WHAT IS IT? I had everything planned. I wanted to do dark dusty rose and dark leather as autumn colours. I had looked up different designers and their fashion shows for autumn 2013 in London and New York. like Felder Felder, Paul Smith, Ralph Lauren or Victoria Beckham. But then I placed an order and got two A England nail polishes that I’ll show you another day, a models own glitter topcoat and most exciting, neon nail art glitter and I can’t help and need to do something with neon for the fashion part.
