WHAT IS IT? My inspirational colour is more of a colour range: corals going neon. I did these French nails in a light taupe with coral tips before but freehand. This time I used French nail sticker to tape them off more neatly.WHAT IS USED? Misslyn’s 420, a light taupe called 5th avenue is my base colour. The polish is quite sheer so I needed three layers to get an opaque look. Next I used some nail polish remover and took of the nailpolish on the tips again as when I first did this I got a think french tip due to the many layers of nail polish here. Then I painted two fingers in essie’s Tart deco (light peachy coral), two fingers in Catrice’s 030 Meet Me At Coral Island, (a peachy salmon close to being a neon colour) and the middle finger first with a white base coat to bring out the second layer: 224A lights from essie’s limited edition poppy razzi (neon pink).
HOW DOES IT FEEL? I like it and think the light taupe brings out the bright tips perfectly. And it could be adapted for many different colour combinations depending on the season.
